We pasture-raise and process, non-hybridized, heritage breed, chickens, ducks, and turkeys, here on the farm.
When raised naturally, pastured poultry are excellent farm “workers”, helping to reduce pests, improve soil fertility, while providing a healthy source of eggs and meat. Pasture and bird health are our top priority. We raise small quantities based on pre-orders only, carefully limiting production during the grazing season. Fresh, whole birds (and parts) may be ordered online and picked up at our farm.
Our laying hens are our happy, pampered divas and they produce year round.
We maintain and hatch a flock of heirloom chicken breeds include: Dominiques, Welsummers, Marans, Buff Orpingtons, Americaunas, Rhode Island and New Hampshire Reds, Leghorns, Wyandottes and others to produce a pretty “easter basket” assortment of nutrient dense eggs. These old breed birds are highly adept at foraging their diet and avoiding predation. They have daily access to pasture and are constantly treated to table scraps and food waste. They roam freely with free-choice feed and water, nest boxes and natural egg nests.
